Video: Illegal Military Grenade and Bulletproof Vest Discovered

On October 19, detectives from the Ararat police department received information through operational measures that a 50-year-old resident of the village of Mayisyan was illegally storing munitions. This has been reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

On the same day, together with colleagues from the Akhuryan division, they searched the man’s backyard. A military grenade with a fuse and a bulletproof vest were discovered among tires arranged near the fence and were confiscated.

A forensic examination has been appointed. The source of the grenade and bulletproof vest acquisition is being clarified in the investigation.
