VIDEO: Methamphetamine Found on 22-Year-Old Woman

The staff of the Criminal Police's drug trafficking enforcement department obtained further data regarding illegal drug trafficking through various operational and investigative measures, collaborating with officers from the Shengavit police department.

On October 1, they initially apprehended a 35-year-old man living in Artashat, who was brought to the Shengavit police station from the intersection of Artashisyan and Shiraz streets in Yerevan. Upon searching him, methamphetamine was discovered.

On the same day, a 53-year-old man was brought to the Shengavit police station from the Arabkir administrative district under similar suspicions, along with a BMW vehicle. During the search of both him and the vehicle, marijuana, methamphetamine, and a knife were found.

Later that evening, a 22-year-old woman was also taken to the Shengavit police station, with methamphetamine discovered during her search.

According to the drug enforcement officials, the apprehended individuals had obtained the drugs from a 39-year-old man living in Yerevan. Subsequent measures confirmed this information. The 39-year-old man was also located and brought to the Shengavit police station, where methamphetamine was found in his vehicle as well.

The 39-year-old man was initially arrested and then charged. He has been detained and transferred to a correctional facility. The pre-investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
