On the night of October 19, patrol officers on Sebastia Street noticed a 'Mercedes' vehicle without license plates, whose driver failed to comply with the police's legal demands and fled the scene. This act grossly violated public order and traffic regulations, endangering the lives and health of other road users.
The police reported that during the escape, the 'Mercedes' collided with the sidewalk, resulting in exploded tires. The patrols managed to block the route of the 'Mercedes' on Isakov Avenue, but the driver attempted to escape, crashing into the police vehicle and causing damage.
During this time, the officers were able to extract him from the car and took him into custody at the Malatya police station. It was revealed that the driver is a 39-year-old resident of Yerevan, who does not possess a driver's license and was operating the vehicle under the influence. The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
