Nearly 50 People Die Due to Floods in India

In northern India, 46 people have died as a result of flooding. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the secretary of the disaster management department, "the death toll from the floods has reached 46, 11 people are missing, and another 12 have been injured." Earlier, the state's governor announced that authorities would compensate the families of the deceased with $5,300, while those who have lost their homes would receive $2,500 in compensation.
