Peacekeepers Immediately Deployed to the Scene: Zhirayr Azizyan

Armenian political scientist and participant in the Artsakh wars, Zhirayr Azizyan, stated in an interview with ArmDaily.am that the Azerbaijani side launched an attack towards the Norashen settlement yesterday.

"I cannot provide specific information about the incident, as I was not at the combat outpost during the event, and I urge everyone who was not there and lacks operational information not to spread rumors or rely on alleged or incompetent sources," Azizyan said.

He noted that Russian peacekeeping forces have promptly deployed to the scene and that the defensive positions have not changed in any direction. The Defense Army continues to carry out combat duty in the position that was struck by the enemy.

It is recalled that as a result of the Azerbaijani provocation yesterday, six individuals from the Armenian side were injured, two of whom were in critical condition. However, doctors were able to successfully complete the surgery, and their lives are no longer at risk.
