Defense Minister Sold and Pocketed Medical Equipment Donated to Armenia: Michel Saryan's Alarm
In the past two years, I have sent more than $15 million worth of medical equipment and supplies to both the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense in Armenia. This was stated by Michel Saryan, president of Prime Healthcare and American-Armenian philanthropist.
“Now I find out that the defense minister sold and pocketed the valuable equipment donated to Armenia, which was intended for soldiers who suffered burns. It was sold outside the country. They sold it for $700,000 and pocketed the money. It’s a shame, how could anyone betray their own country and their people like this?” he revealed.
Aurora News is attempting to clarify details on this issue and obtain explanations from the Ministry of Defense.
