It Is Known Who Will Receive a One-Time Assistance of 50,000 Drams
The Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, and Migration of Artsakh has detailed the categories of individuals who will be eligible for the one-time financial assistance program of 50,000 drams.
Eligible individuals for the assistance include those who have the right to military pensions and fall under the following categories:
- Persons with disabilities resulting from participating in the Great Patriotic War or in combat actions in other countries as part of the Soviet Armed Forces.
- Individuals who became disabled while on military service in the Soviet Armed Forces.
- Persons who became disabled while performing their official duties during the Defense of Artsakh, classified as:
a. Group 1 disability,
b. Group 2 disability,
c. Group 3 disability. - Individuals who became disabled during military service in corresponding state bodies, classified similarly as above.
- Participants of the Great Patriotic War or in combat actions in the Soviet Armed Forces, participants in military actions during the Defense of Artsakh, and Heroes of Artsakh.
- Individuals awarded the "Combat Cross" medal.
- Family members of fallen servicemen during the Defense of Artsakh or while fulfilling their official duties, including:
a. each child,
b. any other family member.
Those entitled to the assistance must be individuals receiving labor or social pensions who became disabled while on duty in the Soviet Armed Forces, participants of the Great Patriotic War or in combat actions in other countries, participants of the Leningrad blockade during the war, and former minor prisoners of fascist concentration camps.
Family members of deceased servicemen who have the right to receive an age-related labor pension, disability labor pension, social pension for the elderly, or social pension for disability, and who are entitled to a military pension but do not receive one due to the death of the serviceman, will also be entitled to the assistance. This includes:
1. Each child,
2. Any other family member.
Similarly, family members of servicemen killed during the Defense of Artsakh or while fulfilling duties during the Great Patriotic War and in other combat actions will have the right to compensation, regardless of whether they are entitled to a military pension or not, including:
1. Family of a serviceman killed during the Defense of Artsakh (parents, child who was under guardianship for at least 10 years before their 18th birthday, spouse, children under 18, or students until they complete their education and turn 23),
2. Family of a serviceman killed as a result of combat actions during the Great Patriotic War (similar classifications as mentioned above).
