Tragic Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Nissan Tiida Found in Gorge

Today, on October 14, a tragic car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 01:00, a Nissan Tiida vehicle left the roadway on the Kotayk-Kaputan village road under unknown circumstances, overturning several times and landing in a gorge.

According to shamshyan.com from the scene, as a result of the accident, 38-year-old Liparit Artushyan from Abovyan and 23-year-old Sahak Hovhannisyan from Shirak Province were transported to the Abovyan Medical Center with severe injuries. They were later transferred to the Number 1 University Hospital, where after some time, Hovhannisyan passed away without regaining consciousness.

Officers from the 1st Squad of the 3rd Battalion of the 2nd Police Division arrived at the scene, led by Battalion Commander Arsen Mardoyan, Deputy Commander Haik Davtyan, and Squad Commander Arthur Petrosyan.
