Armed Woman Robs ‘Alpha Pharm’ Pharmacies in Armavir in 2 Hours
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case concerning armed robbery in the Armavir region. According to shamshyan.com, the case was launched yesterday, on October 14.
On that day, around 6:00 PM, a woman with her face covered by a medical mask entered the ‘Alpha Pharm’ pharmacy located at 31 Shahumyan Street in Armavir and carried out an armed robbery against a 22-year-old employee, Ashkhen D.
The assailant threatened Ashkhen G., who works as a pharmacist at the pharmacy, with a knife and demanded that she hand over all the money in the cash register. The masked woman stole approximately 159,000 AMD from the pharmacy.
Karen Hakobyan, head of the Armavir Regional Police, and Samvel Tonoyan, head of the Investigative Committee's Armavir Regional Investigative Department, arrived at the scene. While investigators and police were working in the area, another report was received around 8:00 PM from 60-year-old Marine G., who stated that a woman with her face covered by a medical mask had entered the ‘Alpha Pharm’ pharmacy at 3 Shahumyan Street in Armavir and stolen 57,000 AMD under the threat of a knife before fleeing.
The police and investigative unit dispatched a task force to the specified location. The police and investigative department are conducting necessary operational-search and investigative procedures to locate the mysterious woman and recover the stolen goods.
