Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik: Rescuers Extract One of the Three Injured from Under a Vehicle

Today, on October 15, a major car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik province. At around 14:30, two vehicles, a Mercedes and an Opel Astra, collided under unknown circumstances on the 2nd kilometer of the Sevan-Zagkhunk-Zovaber highway.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Mercedes veered off the road and ended up overturned in a field. Three people with bodily injuries were transported to the 'Sevan' medical center due to the accident. One of the injured was rescued from under the Mercedes by the firefighters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Sevan Fire and Rescue Team No. 32 and by civilians.

Two of the injured were taken to Sevan hospital by civilians using their personal vehicles, while one was transported by the on-duty medical team from Sevan.
