VIDEO: Over 200 Grams of Cannabis-Like Substance Discovered

The operational data received by the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ashtarak Police Division, as well as those dealing with minors and domestic violence prevention, were implemented on October 10. At 3 PM, two young men, aged 21 and 19, were taken to the police from the Mughnis district of Ashtarak on suspicion of drug possession and use.

During a personal search of one of the individuals from Yerevan, cannabis-like substances weighing approximately 200 grams and a glass pipe with traces of burnt cannabis were found in his pockets. In the personal search of the resident of Yeghvard, a cigarette case containing around 10 grams of a similar substance was discovered. They stated that the items found were cannabis, collected from wild cannabis plants in the Ashtarak gorge for personal use.

An examination has been appointed, and the circumstances of the case are being clarified.
