Russia is Developing Another Vaccine

The Gamaleya Center will conduct clinical trials of a combined vaccine against coronavirus and influenza by the end of 2022. This was announced by the center's director, Alexander Gintsburg.

The basis for the creation of a single vaccine has been the hybrid vaccine against rotavirus. Simultaneously, the process of developing vaccines against various strains of the coronavirus is ongoing.

According to the head of the Gamaleya Center, technological capabilities exist, but clinical testing has not yet begun. In addition to the Gamaleya Center, the Russian 'Vector' scientific center is also attempting to develop a combined vaccine against coronavirus and influenza.
