Starting October 14, the Health and Labor Inspection Body will conduct inspection visits in the regions as well. This was announced today by the specialists of the inspection body in Gyumri. The specialists discussed violations of labor legislation and the requirement for a PCR test or vaccination certificate, which will become mandatory from October 14.
Since February 2020, the Health and Labor Inspection Agency has been checking how businesses comply with anti-epidemic rules. Inspections continue even now. The epidemic situation in the country is tense.
“The epidemic situation is tense. The number of infections and the mortality rate are increasing day by day. This is due to the fact that we are not getting vaccinated and are not adhering to the anti-epidemic rules. Despite ongoing inspections, our population tends to neglect the rules designed to prevent coronavirus. We continue to monitor the wearing of masks, disinfection, and maintenance of social distance. Now an additional two requirements will be imposed. This includes the requirement to present a PCR test every 14 days, and if one is vaccinated, proof of vaccination certificate,” said Anna Harutyunyan, the head of the Hygiene, Sanitary-Hygienic and Anti-Epidemic Control Department of the Health and Labor Inspection Body, in an interview with Shantnews.
