“Pashinyan and Aliyev transferred encrypted messages through their NSS heads,” said Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the parliamentary faction “I Have Honor,” during the 24TV program “Interview.”

Commenting on Prime Minister Pashinyan’s statements in the National Assembly regarding operational communication, Vanetsyan stated that the Prime Minister is actually resorting to manipulation.

To clarify the issue, he first explained what operational communication entails, indicating that it was intended solely for border incidents. The communication from Armenia was established by then-NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan, while it was his Azerbaijani counterpart on the other side.

The speaker elaborated, indicating that he mainly maintained phone communication with his counterpart and met several times in Dubai and other cities under appropriate circumstances. According to Vanetsyan, the main topic of conversation was exclusively the border situation, and this was fully reported to both the Prime Minister and the members of the Security Council, including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
