Aliyev's New Statement on Meeting with Pashinyan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has expressed his willingness to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan when the latter is ready for it.

“I am ready to meet and have already expressed my position. If the Armenian side is ready, I am too. We had one meeting at the beginning of this year in a trilateral format at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. I am prepared to negotiate with Mr. Pashinyan at any moment when he is ready. Thus, I am open to discussions and believe this could be a good indication that the war is over, and this page has been turned,” said Aliyev to the Spanish EFE news agency.
