Cold Shower for Those Who Are Delighted When Iranians Threaten to Destroy Azerbaijan: Arman Abovyan

Former MP Arman Abovyan wrote on his Facebook page: "A bit of a cold shower for all those who are delighted when the Iranians threaten to destroy Azerbaijan.

Firstly, it should be noted that all of Iran's actions are aimed solely at serving the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this is NATURAL (of course, in this case, the situation opens up quite favorable opportunities for us, but only on one condition: if we WANT to defend our country’s interests).

Secondly, Iran will never allow Turkey and Azerbaijan to deprive it of the logistics links crossing the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the region.

And, finally, it should also be understood that when these authorities diminish the subjectivity of the Republic of Armenia, it should not be surprising that pieces of our Homeland become mere playing cards for regional (excuse the term) "rasbirs".

"If the Turkish adventurism continues and Azerbaijan behaves wrongly towards Iran, both Nakhchivan and Artsakh will return to Iran's composition," said political figure Mahmoud Ahmadi Beghash, a permanent member of the Iranian Security Issues Committee.

So, do not get too excited, every state pursues its own national interests. And if the Armenian authorities do not perceive the real regional challenges and are drowning under meaningless, dangerous, nation-destroying, supposedly peaceful agendas, then we are merely perceived as a factor under the shine of others' interests."
