VIDEO: How a Terrorist Group Was Neutralized in Moscow

A terrorist group known as "Hizb al-Tahrir al-Islam" has been eliminated in Moscow, according to the Federal Security Service.

"Two leaders and their active members have been arrested," the statement reads, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to law enforcement, the Islamists had gathered in safe houses and spread extremist ideology among the residents of the Moscow region. During the searches, prohibited propaganda materials were uncovered.

A criminal case has been initiated.
