27-Year-Old Police Officer Rolls Over in Opel, Crashes into Rocks; Doctors Fight for His Life

On September 26, a major car accident occurred in the Shirak region. Around 6:00 PM, 27-year-old Khachatur Khachatryan, a resident of Shirak, lost control of his Opel vehicle under unknown circumstances on the 12th km of the Gyumri-Yerevan highway. The car veered off the road, rolled over multiple times, and crashed into rocks along the roadside.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Khachatryan sustained injuries and was rushed to the medical center in Gyumri. Shamshyan reports that Khachatryan serves in the community police division of the Kumayri police station in Gyumri.
