Citizens Stabbed and Transferred to Hospitals from Various Cemeteries in Yerevan

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, yesterday, on September 26, stabbings occurred in various cemeteries in Yerevan. At around 01:15, the number 1 university hospital alerted the Erebuni police department that an individual with a "stab wound to the right side of the abdomen" was being transferred by emergency doctors from the Nor Nork administrative district.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Erebuni police department, led by senior investigator Matevosyan, headed to the hospital. Doctors reported that the injured individual was unable to provide any explanation at that moment. While doctors were fighting for the victim's life, Erebuni police discovered that the individual was 48-year-old Rafik M., a resident of Yerevan, who had been stabbed by an unknown assailant near the Vardashen cemeteries.

Senior investigator Matevosyan is preparing materials on the incident. On the same day, at around 03:00, the Erebuni medical center informed the Malatya police department that a citizen with a "stab wound" was transferred to them, reporting that he had "fallen in the 4th village known to the public in the Victory neighborhood." Malatya police determined that the victim was 37-year-old Edgar N., a resident of Yerevan, who was also stabbed by an unknown individual near the cemetery in the Victory neighborhood.

Investigatory materials are being prepared in the Malatya police department regarding this incident. Both the Erebuni and Malatya police are implementing necessary operational and investigative measures to clarify the circumstances of the incidents, identify the individuals who committed the crime, and locate the weapons used in the acts.
