VIDEO: Firefighters from Iran Arrive to Assist Armenian Colleagues; Fire at ‘Arevik’ Park Not Yet Extinguished

Firefighters from Iran have joined Armenian colleagues to help extinguish the fires in the area of the ‘Arevik’ National Park, located in the Meghri community of the Syunik Province.

It's worth noting that firefighting efforts resumed on September 23 at the ‘Arevik’ National Park, with the participation of 70 rescue workers and 20 employees from the ‘Zangezur’ biospheric complex.

The firefighting operations are being led by Deputy Head of the Emergency Situations Department, Colonel Tigran Petrosyan.
