VIDEO: Two Young Men Aged 23 and 25 Detained on Suspicion of Possessing Nearly Half a Kilogram of Drugs

On September 15, officers from the Gavar division of the police detained two residents of Yerevan, aged 23 and 25, during a nighttime patrol in the vicinity of Noratus village, on suspicion of drug possession and use, while in their car, a Nissan Tiida. This was reported by the police of the Republic of Armenia.

During the inspection of the vehicle, 450 grams of cannabis-like plant tops were discovered in a paper bag in the trunk. Subsequent actions revealed that the plant matter belonged to the 23-year-old passenger. According to him, he had harvested the cannabis from wild bushes the previous day for personal use.
