Armenians of Artsakh Displaced from Their Historic Territories: L’Œuvre d’Orient

Armenian Ombudsman of Artsakh Gegham Stepanyan posted on his Facebook page:

“The French organization L’Œuvre d’Orient, whose primary mission is to provide support for Eastern Christians in educational, social, healthcare, cultural, and other areas, has documented based on the collection of facts regarding Nagorno-Karabakh:

• The Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh have been displaced from their historic territories, and the Armenian population has been forced out of their homes, villages, and churches.
• The Armenian people have earned the right to live peacefully and freely through their blood.
• The people of Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to implement their self-determination process under international supervision, just like Kosovo.
• The organization demands that all historical territories of Nagorno-Karabakh be returned with secure borders.
• The organization calls on the EU and the French government to provide clear support to the people of Artsakh.”
