Azerbaijan Returns Missing Individuals from Goris-Vorotan Road Section
As a result of the efforts of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia and the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, Azerbaijan returned the missing individuals from the Goris-Vorotan road section at 23:45, according to the NSS.
On September 19 of this year, the Armenian NSS had issued a statement reporting that two residents of the Kasakh community in the Kotayk region of Armenia had deviated from the main road while traveling through the Goris-Vorotan road section and found themselves in an area under Azerbaijani control.
The statement added that thanks to the work conducted by the NSS of Armenia and the border guards of the FSB of Russia, the aforementioned individuals were returned by the Azerbaijani side at 23:45.
Earlier, the NSS had reported that on September 18, around 21:00, information was received indicating that the same day, two residents of the Kasakh community in the Kotayk region (details known) had deviated from the main road and ended up in an area controlled by Azerbaijan.
