Aghvan Hovsepyan Detained

Aghvan Hovsepyan has been detained. Late yesterday evening, the judge of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, Mnatsakan Martirosyan, accepted the request of the Special Investigative Service investigator and made a decision to detain the former Prosecutor General of Armenia and former head of the Investigative Committee, Aghvan Hovsepyan.

Hovsepyan was arrested yesterday morning. He has been charged with money laundering, illegal entrepreneurial activity, receiving a particularly large bribe, and committing fraud.
