Head of the Special Investigative Service Deceived the EU, Faked Funds to Enable a Girl's Trip to Europe - Manukyan

Gagik Manukyan, a member of the 'Armenia' parliamentary faction, posed this question to Mariam Galstyan, who has been nominated for a position on the Anti-Corruption Committee.

Continuing the inquiry, Manukyan urged Galstyan to pay attention to a particularly important circumstance after being elected. 'Recently, the selection of candidates for the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee took place, and the head of the Special Investigative Service made such a scandalous statement that an investigation could be launched. One example is that he deceived representatives of the European Union, faked funds on an account so that a girl could go to Europe, and then the money was withdrawn in cash and returned to the woman's brother. And such numerous other scandalous statements. It is significant that his current position and past statements are highly incompatible.'

Manukyan's statement did not elicit any response from Mariam Galstyan.
