Young Man Stabs 20-Year-Old Relative After Gathering in Sari Tagh

On September 6, at 9 PM, a citizen called the police to report a stabbing incident at one of the houses on 11th Street in Sari Tagh. An operational group from the Erebuni police department rushed to the designated address. Shortly after, a hospital emergency alert was received, reporting that a 20-year-old resident from the aforementioned house had been transferred for medical assistance with a diagnosis of a "stab wound to the chest." The injury was serious.

A criminal case has been initiated on the basis of Article 112 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, Erebuni detectives had already received operational information, and hours after the incident, a young man from the first street of Nor Kharberd, who is related to the victim, was detained. According to preliminary data, this was not the first time the youths had organized gatherings, and the latest one ended in a dispute and stabbing.

The young man who committed the stabbing has been presented to the investigative department, where he confessed to the act and was arrested. Efforts are being made to locate the weapon used in the crime. The investigation is clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
