Criminal Case Initiated Following 15-Year-Old Boy's Suicide

On September 7, 2021, the Vanadzor city police received a report from a resident of Vanadzor regarding the discovery of her underage son's body in their backyard. This was announced by the Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

As a result of the measures taken, it was determined that on the same day, at 07:55, the resident of Vanadzor found her 15-year-old son hanging from a tree with a rope in their backyard located on Yerevan Highway in Vanadzor.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Lori regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia under part 1 of Article 110 of the RA Criminal Code. During the preliminary investigation, examinations of the scene and the body have been conducted, and a forensic medical examination of the body has been appointed. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
