Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Collision Between Mercedes and BMW
On September 7, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 01:30, on Tsitsernakaberd Highway, in front of the number 23 electrical station, a BMW driven by 22-year-old Hrachik Safaryan, a resident of Kotayk Province, collided head-on with a Mercedes driven by 29-year-old Arthur Hambardzumyan, a resident of Yerevan.

Hambardzumyan and a passenger in the Mercedes, 31-year-old Gayane Avagyan, were taken to the “Erebuni” medical center with injuries. H. Safaryan was transported to “Astghik” medical center, and the passenger of the BMW, Armen Khachatryan, whose date of birth and residence are being clarified, was taken to “Armenia” medical center.
Two fire-rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Yerevan Fire Brigade quickly arrived at the scene. Citizens and firefighters were the first to provide assistance to the injured.
