Taliban Captures Last Stronghold in Panjshir Province

According to the TASS agency, referencing a statement by Zabihullah Mujahid, a representative of the Taliban movement, the Taliban has completely taken control of Panjshir province in northern Afghanistan, which was the last holdout not under Taliban control.

"The last stronghold, Panjshir province, has been fully captured," the report states. According to the source, some rebels in the province have been defeated, while others have fled.
