Fire Breaks Out at Childhood Center in Spitak
On September 5 at 01:13, the Lori regional crisis management center received a report that a fire had broken out at a kindergarten located in the Uzbek neighborhood of Spitak city.
An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Regional Rescue Department and four firefighting crews were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the fire started in a one-story wooden building of the "Shogher" childhood center (approximately 423 sq. m). The fire was contained by 04:17 and extinguished by 09:35.
The burned structure was the inactive "Shogher" childhood center, totaling around 423 sq. m. Firefighters have established a duty shift at the site.
