Video: Suicide Attempt in Yerevan, Man Threatens to Jump from Balcony

A man is attempting to commit suicide from a building on Teryan Street in Yerevan. In a video captured by a correspondent of Sputnik Armenia, the man is seen standing between the balconies of the top floors of a four or five-story building. It is noteworthy that the man is of middle age.

Police officers are on the scene, trying to persuade him not to take such drastic action.

Psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations who arrived at the scene were successful in convincing the man to refrain from making an extreme decision, and as a result, he went back inside the house.
