Shooting Heard for One Hour This Morning in the Red Market: Metakse Hakhobyan

The opponent has once again resorted to provocations in the Artsakh region. This morning, shooting was heard in the Red Market for about an hour, although it was not targeted.

In an interview with "Factinfo," Artsakh National Assembly member Metakse Hakhobyan reported that according to residents of the Red Market, gunfire occurred, but not directed at the village, lasting about an hour. "As we say in Stepanakert, it has become common to hear gunfire in Shushi, just like there. Today, if we look at the aerial border, we are at most 100 meters away from the border, which is why we have been hearing continuous gunfire. They shoot in directions where there are no residents, but the residents of the Red Market state that the gunfire has been very loud, giving the impression that they were shooting right at the village," Hakhobyan stated, emphasizing that the purpose of the gunfire is to instill panic among the population.

“For example, yesterday they succeeded in creating panic. Rumors were spread among the people of the Red Market that allegedly Azerbaijanis had entered the village, but the men of the village assured that there was no such thing,” added the National Assembly member of Artsakh.
