Colorful Celebration to Be Held on September 21 in Memory of Fallen Soldiers, Prime Minister

The working day of September 20, 2021, will be transferred to September 25, 2021 (Saturday). This decision was made at today’s cabinet meeting. The adoption of the draft government decision on transferring the working day is driven by the necessity to organize citizens' rest in connection with state holidays in the Republic of Armenia.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that while the mood cannot be considered festive, the 30th anniversary of Armenia's independence must be appropriately marked. He said, “I want to announce that there will be a colorful celebration in Republic Square on September 21, dedicated to the memory of our fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence, security, and for Artsakh.”

It is also noteworthy that September 21 is a non-working day as it marks the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.
