Increase in COVID-19 Cases in Armenia

As of September 3, 595 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 243,981.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 16 citizens died from the virus in one day, raising the death toll to 4,892. There have also been three cases of patients infected with the virus dying from other illnesses. As of September 3, the total number of such cases has reached 1,162. The overall death toll now stands at 6,054.

In one day, 488 individuals recovered from the virus, with the total number of recoveries reaching 228,214, and there are currently 9,713 individuals undergoing treatment.

In the last day, 6,138 tests have been conducted, with a total of 1,560,430 tests performed to date.
