I Will Always Stand by the Armenian People, US Congressman Adam Schiff

US Congressman Adam Schiff, who represents the Armenian-populated state of California, joined messages commemorating the Independence Day of Artsakh, stating that he will continue to fight for the international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh.

“Today we come together to celebrate the Independence Day of Artsakh. Thirty years ago, the brave people of Artsakh declared their independence from the Soviet Union. Though the path for Artsakh has never been easy, last year's war tested the people of Artsakh in unimaginable ways. Your resilience in the face of that challenge is an inspiration to us all. On this important day, let us once again dedicate ourselves to the fight against the threats facing the people of Artsakh. For independence is merely the beginning of the fight for freedom. I will always stand by Artsakh and the Armenian people, fighting for the self-determination and security of Artsakh. I look forward to the day when Artsakh finally enjoys the international recognition that it has been denied for so long,” the congressman said in his message.
