Russian Border Guards Have Encircled Azerbaijani Soldiers in Syunik

According to our information, the Azerbaijani armed forces, composed of about 75 personnel, have been encircled by Russian border guards after blocking the inter-state road in Syunik. This is reported by Hraparak.

The Russian border guards are outraged by the audacity of the Azerbaijanis, who, knowing that this section of the border and the road are under the control of the Russian forces, dared to block the road and subject Armenian villages to blockade.

Currently, negotiations are underway between the Russian border guards and the Azerbaijani soldiers to remove them from the encirclement and withdraw to their initial positions. The Minister of Defense of Armenia is also in Syunik.
