Armenian Government Sees Its Role in Artsakh Issue Only in Humanitarian Aspects: Abrahamyan
Member of the National Assembly's "I Have Honor" faction Tigran Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page: "The absence of Armenia's president, prime minister, and speaker of the National Assembly in Artsakh speaks about several negative signals.
Moreover, this issue is not only related to symbolic days for Artsakh but in general. Naturally, many noticed the absence of Armenian leaders during the symbolic events held in Artsakh on September 2, yet the same officials have not visited Artsakh at all since the war.
Ineffectively addressing the Artsakh issue and failing to prioritize it clearly indicate this government's position. This is an attitude towards Artsakh and its people.
If we also consider this issue within the framework of Azerbaijani pressures and ultimatums, it becomes evident that if the Armenian government is even acting according to the rules dictated by Azerbaijan, then it is already clear what possible developments might follow in this sequence of events.
The Armenian government sees its role in the Artsakh issue only in humanitarian matters, which I believe will also be temporary in nature. The current authorities have led the country into a chain of defeats, where our nation is moving under an agenda imposed upon it, against the interests of Armenia and Artsakh."
