Armen Charentsyan Transferred from Hospital to Vardashen Penitentiary

Armen Charentsyan, the director of Izmirlian Medical Center, has just been transferred from the hospital to Vardashen Penitentiary. This was reported by the newspaper "Hraparak".

It is recalled that he was moved to a civilian hospital due to serious health issues, particularly heart problems, high blood sugar, and high blood pressure. His lawyer, Erik Aleksanyan, stated in an interview with "Yerevan Today": "Mr. Charentsyan is still not in a health condition suitable for transfer to the penitentiary, given the fact that the penitentiary lacks the resources to provide the necessary medical assistance to him. Nonetheless, the management holds that position, and if Mr. Charentsyan's health deteriorates further, the penitentiary will bear full responsibility."

We have learned that representatives of the "Armenia" alliance, along with the lawyer, are currently rushing to Vardashen Penitentiary to visit Armen Charentsyan and hold a press conference.
