Agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh Settlement Successfully Implemented, Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a meeting with participants of an educational marathon, highlighted Russia's efforts and those of President Vladimir Putin in halting the war in the South Caucasus in 2020.

“Speaking about the past year, we cannot fail to mention our efforts, primarily those of our president, in stopping the hostilities in the South Caucasus and achieving agreements regarding the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh. These are now being successfully implemented with the involvement of our ministry, the defense ministry, as well as our economic block, which ensures negotiations on the unblocking of all communications and economic ties in the region,” Lavrov stated.
