Which Employees Are Exempt from the Requirement to Submit a Negative PCR Test Result to Employers
The Armenian Health and Labor Inspectorate informs that a change has been made regarding the sanitary rules established by Order No. 17 of the Minister of Health of Armenia for preventing the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). According to the order, employees of state and local self-governance bodies are required to present a negative result from the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, which must be certified and no more than 72 hours old, every 14 days.
Exceptions to this requirement include:
- Fully vaccinated individuals,
- Individuals vaccinated with one dose,
- Employees with documented absolute contraindications,
- Pregnant women.
The PCR test is conducted by the employee at their own expense. This change comes into effect on October 1st of this year.
