Father Dies Searching for Son's Body in Hot War Zones; Body Found After 10 Months in Morgue
Journalist Aram Gevorgyan reports: "Mher is with his father, Nivo. Mher's name was on the list of those killed in October, but the body was not found. His father went to the hottest battle zones to find his son's body. On November 3, the father was also killed. The boy's body was found yesterday, in the morgue. Fully recognizable. Since November 20, the body was in the refrigerator... For 10 months, the mother searched for her son's body in the territories surrendered in Artsakh and in the morgues of Armenia. For 10 months, the boy's body remained in the morgue, and they did not inform her... I apologize, but my Armenian vocabulary is insufficient to describe the responsibility of those in charge of all this. Nivo's sister's husband was also killed in this war. Mher's grandfather (maternal side) was killed during the previous war in Artsakh, as well as Nivo's dear brother, whose name was also carried by Mher. They are from Artsakh," Gevorgyan wrote.
