Who Can Skip the Test: Changes in PCR Test Requirement for Entering Armenia

As of September 6, children under the age of 6 entering Armenia will no longer be required to take a PCR test. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

It is noted that changes have been made to the measures and restrictions implemented during the quarantine period based on the government decision No. 1514-N dated September 11, 2020, regarding the quarantine established due to COVID-19.

Specifically, the requirement to take a PCR test when entering Armenia has been altered. "Henceforth, children under 6 years old entering the country will not be required to take a PCR test. This decision comes into effect on September 6," the statement says.

We remind that previously, this requirement was lifted for children under 1 year old.
