Russia Has a Rich Bilateral Agenda with Armenia, Lavrov Says

Armenia is a ally of the Russian Federation. The two countries have a rich bilateral agenda, including mutual visits, the implementation of major projects, and the development of economic cooperation.

According to Armenpress, this was stated by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with students at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

“All of this is developing in a very intense and confident manner,” Lavrov added.

The Russian Foreign Minister also addressed the issue of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. “There are agreements that have been signed by the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia. These agreements clarify the leaders' proposals regarding the unblocking of all transport infrastructure and economic ties. This work is not done in a day; it is ongoing. The leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are personally involved in this,” Lavrov concluded.
