Authorities’ Objective: Seyran Ohanyan to be Isolated

The "Hay jhoghovurd" newspaper reports that Seyran Ohanyan is currently facing legal challenges that aim to isolate him from parliamentary activities. According to the paper, there is currently an ongoing criminal case against him at the Special Investigative Service related to the "Dzorahakh" LLC, in which he is a suspect.

Simultaneously, the Deputy Prosecutor General has filed an appeal at the Court of Appeals, requesting to overturn the acquittal of former President Robert Kocharyan in the "March 1" case and to return the case to court for retrial, where Seyran Ohanyan is also a defendant.

Thus, he is currently implicated in two criminal cases, with the possibility of a third stemming from an incident in the National Assembly where he threw a bottle at Civil Contract faction member Hayk Sarkisyan. This could be interpreted as a hooligan act and may not go unpunished.

Law enforcement has already begun the process and is gathering the facts. Regardless of how these legal proceedings are portrayed, it is evident that there is a political directive aimed at isolating Seyran Ohanyan, as well as Vahe Hakobyan and Ishkhan Saghatelyan, from the Assembly with the goal of undermining the "Armenia" faction.
