615 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of September 1 at 11:00 AM, a total of 242,750 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 227,293 have recovered, and 4,847 have resulted in death, according to the Ministry of Health.

Currently, 9,443 patients are receiving treatment for the coronavirus. In total, 1,547,898 tests have been conducted.

Yesterday, 7,462 tests were performed, resulting in 615 new confirmed cases of the illness. There were 267 recoveries and 13 deaths reported. The previous day, there were 2 recorded deaths where the patients had contracted the coronavirus, but the cause of death was attributed to other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 1,157.
