20 hectares of grassland burning in Kut; 14 firefighters on site trying to extinguish the fire

On September 1, at 13:42, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting smoke observed from the grass-covered area adjacent to the village of Kut. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The emergency response team from the regional rescue department, along with one firefighting unit, was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that grassland was burning in the area surrounding the village of Kut. According to preliminary data, the fire has two centers and approximately 20 hectares of grassland are burning.

A total of 14 firefighters are participating in the firefighting efforts.
