Sochi Faces Risk of Whirlwinds Formation, Residents Warned

A storm warning has been issued in Sochi due to the risk of whirlwinds developing in the sea. According to RIA Novosti, referencing the press service of the resort city's administration, the storm warning is effective until September 3.

"According to meteorologists' forecasts, there is a risk of whirlwinds forming in the sea on August 31, as well as during the period from September 1-2, and on the night and morning of September 3," the statement reads.

In light of the danger, residents and guests of the city have been advised to refrain from approaching the water.
