62-Year-Old Driver Dies in Collision with ZIL Truck in Aragatsotn Province

Today, September 2, a tragic car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. Around 12:00 PM, 62-year-old Norik Kirakosyan, a resident of the village of Tsaghkahovit, veered into the opposite lane while driving a VAZ 21099 and collided with a ZIL truck owned by 63-year-old Samvel Jngoyan, which was parked in the permissible area of the road.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, Norik Kirakosyan died at the scene.

The incident was reported by the responsible duty officer Davit Grigoryan to the Aragatsotn regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, where an investigative group has arrived to examine the case.

A criminal case has been initiated based on the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code.

By order of the investigator, the vehicles involved in the accident are being moved to the special storage area of the Aragats police department.
