Several Shipments of Sputnik V Vaccine Sent to Armenia, New Shipments Planned: Lavrov
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, reached an agreement today during a meeting in Moscow regarding the import of new shipments of the coronavirus vaccine.
This was announced by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a press conference following the meeting of the two ministers. "We have already sent several batches of the Sputnik V vaccine to Armenia, and new shipments are now planned. We have agreed that this cooperation between our countries should continue on a systematic basis, involving relevant medical and scientific organizations," he stated.
Lavrov also revealed that an agreement has been reached regarding cooperation in the field of education, particularly concerning programs for exchange of professors and students. According to Lavrov, the Armenian side has confirmed its interest in maintaining the Russian language in Armenia, and Russia has expressed its readiness to support such opportunities.
