Positive Signals Exchanged with Turkey Are a New Trap for Armenia, Drawn by the Authorities: Abrahamyan
Positive signals exchanged with Turkey are a new trap for Armenia, in which the Armenian authorities are trying to draw us in. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a deputy from the ‘I Have Honor’ faction, on his Facebook page.
“First, Turkey’s preconditions remain on the agenda, including the issue of recognizing Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, which is being imposed on us. Second, one of the demands is to abandon the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide. At the same time, it should be understood that especially in our region, the foreign, military, economic, and information policies of Turkey and Azerbaijan are coordinated, and these countries operate with previously agreed roles. In short, if Azerbaijan is conducting a policy of border provocations, it is not only coordinated with Turkey but also receives support from that country. In this context, it is completely illogical to speak about the possible normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations or the positive signals received.”
